Education service providers face difficulty in selecting Learning Management System that is right for there environment. Be careful while selecting LMS for your company as it is a major investment and replacing it without considerable additional cost is not possible. If you are not satisfied with your LMS then you will have to switch to other LMS.


Keep following things in mind while selecting a LMS:

1) The LMS must be able to serve the different needs of learners, instructors, content developers and administrators simultaneously.


2) The LMS must have the capability to expand to meet future demands.


3) All the important learning standards like IMS, AICC etc must be supported by your LMS.


4) The LMS must be able to handle a large enterprise implementation and it must be reliable.



5) The vendor of your LMS must have the resources to support your requirements. He should be financially stable and responsive in case of any problem related to the LMS.


6) The LMS must be able to meet all the core requirements.


7) Identify learning strategies and requirements.


8)In order to get the best deal, it is necessary that you do some LMS vendor research. Find there websites to analyze there profiles.
